Prerequisites:
Vocabulary: Greetings, introductions, basic verbs, numbers, days of the week
Grammar: Present tense verb conjugations, pronouns, and word order
Students will need to review Unit 1 in In eynem: The New Yiddish Textbook. 

New topics covered:
Vocabulary: Classroom objects, colors, adjectives
Grammar: Imperative, negation, there is/there are
Culture: Folksongs, poems, archival images

Materials: Students will need to purchase a copy of In eynem: The New Yiddish Textbook, available here. They are also expected to familiarize themselves with the Yiddish alphabet before the program begins.
