Cooking Class: In the Kitchen with Joan Nathan
Students will cook along with Joan in our commercial kosher kitchen. Joan will provide instruction, tips, and techniques while you prepare one-hour challah, roasted red pepper salad with lemon & garlic, and eggplant caviar. A sampling will follow.

Joan Nathan is the author of ten cookbooks including the recently published Quiches, Kugels and Couscous: My Search for Jewish Cooking in France. She is a regular contributor to The New York Times, Food Arts Magazine, Tablet Magazine, among other publications. A book signing will follow the talk.

 

After lunch, the program opens up to the broader public for A Conversation with Joan Nathan, an informative discussion and lively Q&A about Jewish cuisine.
