The BQE Project's "The Golem", 2011 Kligerman-Greenspun Perofrmance Hall
The Golem with live accompaniment by Tom Nazziola and the BQE Project
Kligerman-Greenspun Performance Hall Sunday, October 9 at 7 PM FILM/CONCERT Tom Nazziola and the BQE Project perform live accompaniment to Paul Wegener’s 1920 German silent film, The Golem. Widely recognized as the source of the Frankenstein myth, the ancient Hebrew legend of the golem provided actor/director Paul Wegener with the inspiration for one of the most adventurous films of the German silent cinema. A classic example of German expression, The Golem is a perfect template for the world of musical color, drama and excitement that one can expect from a soundtrack composed by Tom Nazziola and performed live by the BQE Project. Reservations suggested.
